The Sprig and FernThe Sprig and Fern Tavern took flight in 2006 under the watchful eye of the highly esteemed Tracy Banner who found a gap in the market for revolutionary beer – beer with flavour, as they like to put it. Mainstream beer had no choice but to give way to this talented and zealous woman who has played a massive role in the craft beer industry in New Zealand for over 30 years.
