In 1996 Donne Mardle started the Ebony Coffee Company (then the Manawatu Coffee Roasting Company). The Roasting Company started from humble beginnings with only a 12kg Otto Swadla. Over the years Ebony Coffee Roasters have changed equipment, premises and even owners but one thing still remains – their unparalleled commitment to roasting quality coffee blends and supplying some of the region’s most aromatic, flavourful and enticing coffee roasts to keep customers coming back for more.
