Invercargill BreweryFew people can enjoy the adventure of a lifetime; and even fewer can allow that adventure to mould their lives in order to make all their dreams come true. Steve Nally did just this; after finishing his degree in chemistry he went on an overseas experience in Europe where he began playing rugby on Moet’s home ground and so began his love for champagne, cider, beer and all things brewed. In 1999 Steve opened the Invercargill’s Brewery in an old dairy shed; in 2013 they were forced to move to their current location to keep up with their space requirements. The brewery has gained an exceptional name for themselves with beers, ales and ciders brewed with the legacy of the important influences in Steve’s life in mind and have even been described as “an impressive wee brewery that epitomizes the enterprise and creativity of New Zealand’s next brewing generation.” by writer Keith Stewart. But don’t take his word for it, sample Invercargill’s quality brews and decide for yourself while hearing the stories of the legends who inspired these legendary brews!
